Fine Art Prints
Sally is the talented photographer behind the Amichi Co fine art prints, and the mother of the mother-daughter duo. She began her photography journey several decades ago, and has since captured countless beautiful moments, from places all over the world.
Sally has an innate ability to capture the beauty and personality of her subjects, while having a deep connection to nature which shines through in her work. She is truly a gifted artist, and we are so lucky to have her as the photographer behind Amichi Co's prints.

Fine art giclée printing is by far the highest quality approach to photo printing. It uses the latest and greatest printing technology, materials and inks, designed to achieve the best results in terms of colour, quality and longevity.
Our images are printed from the latest Epson SureColor P20070 Wide Format Inkjet Printer. This printer is highly regarded and one of the best and most efficient Inkjet printer in the commercial market.
In order to keep the printers, papers and monitors in line with international standards, the Barbieri Spectro LFPqb is used to ensure the best colour management. This is an incredible machine that accurately inspects our printing colours and helps us calibrate them to a near perfect accuracy.

We use the Ilford GALERIE Prestige Smooth Pearl 310gsm paper.
This paper is an industry standard professional photographic paper with a 90 year archival rating. It is a partial gloss and a lower direct reflection of light to the viewer, which makes for less glare, shine, and makes the image easier to see at all angles.
It is important to ensure that any handling does not cause damage to your artwork. We suggest to avoid touching the print directly as oils and dirt from your hands can damage the artwork and rough treatments can scratch and harm the pigments.
We recommend not hanging your item in direct sunlight. Each of our artworks has it’s own hanging method. Please read the instructions provided carefully. We also recommend using acid free tape if you are framing the print yourself to avoid yellowing the print.
HANDLING & MOVING
To preseve your frame, it is important to avoid any unnecessary handling or movement of framed prints. If you need to move the works, please ensure that two people do this, keep it upright and do not carry the works form the top or sides only. Avoid any twisting of the framed prints, as this can damage, the corners of the frame.
CLEANING
We do not recommend cleaning your art work routinely; only clean when required to remove any marks or fingerprints, and only clean the affected area.
White & black frames: clean with a damp cloth and where necessary, solvent can be used for tough marks.
Natural timber frames: we advise avoiding moisture and extreme deviations in temperature (e.g. hanging directly beneath AC or heating). Our Amichi Co timber is raw and unstained/lacquered. Any rough edges can be sanded if exposed.
Plexi-glass: only clean when required and only clean the affected area. First, gently dust the work with a soft feather duster or lint-free cloth. Then, use a soft lint-free cloth and a very small amount of water to dampen. Apply the cloth and then dry the area with another dry, soft lint-free cloth.
HEATING & COOLING
In warmer climates or if the framed works are placed above or near a heater or air-conditioning unit, condensation can occur inside the face of the acrylic front due to prolonged changes in temperature. If this does occur, it will not damage your print if it is framed with the print recessed, as the water does not touch the print and the condensation will evaporate.

- Click 'Frames' in the top right corner of the pop-up to choose which frame you would like to view the artwork in, and re-click 'Frames' to close the framing options

- You can re-size the artwork to show the different size dimensions and to assist with you understanding of the different size and scale options
- You can download the image to save it and share with friends, family, clients or the Amichi Co team!

Use the virtual preview to view Amichi Co fine art prints in your own space, room or wall:
- Take a photo of the space, room or wall where you want to view this artwork (you may already have an image in your photo library, desktop or mobile device)
- Visit any Amicho Co product and scroll to the Virtual Preview section
- Click the 'View Artwork In Your Space' button
- A pop-up screen will appear where you can upload the photo of your space, room or wall by clicking on the 'Upload Image'
- You will then receive instruction prompts displayed on the pop-up screen to define areas on which you want the artwork to be placed, to enter the height for the areas you define and to add more areas if you need (the more accurate you are with your dimensions, the more realistic the size and scale will be)
- Use your mouse to drag the artwork into your preferred positions
- Click 'Frames' in the top right corner of the pop-up to choose which frame you would like to view the artwork in, and re-click 'Frames' to close the framing options
- You can re-size the artwork to show the different size dimensions and to assist with you understanding of the different size and scale options
- You can download the image to save it and share with friends, family, clients or the Amichi Co team!

We use optical-grade acrylic because it’s shatter-resistant, scratch-resistant, and extremely durable, with added thickness for enhanced protection. It provides better UV protection and reduces glare compared to glass, helping to preserve the vibrancy and longevity of your artwork. Additionally, acrylic is significantly lighter than glass, making it easier and safer to hang, especially for larger prints, which makes it ideal for high-traffic areas or homes with children and pets.
Each frame is sourced from premium solid wood, and is handcrafted in Australia with the highest quality craftsmanship.
Each framed artwork comes ready to hang with a sturdy hanging system and wall buddies that make for easy hanging. This includes d-rings & string which provide a sturdy hanging system for every size of artwork. The string will be set up in the orientation of your artwork. For hanging heavy artwork, it's important to ensure both safety and stability. Here are some steps to follow:
- Choose the Right Location: Decide where you want to hang your artwork. It should be a spot where it won’t be subjected to direct sunlight or moisture. Make sure there's enough wall space for the artwork to have some "breathing" room.
- Find the Wall Studs: Heavy pieces should be hung on studs rather than just the drywall. You can use a stud finder to locate the studs in your wall.
- Select Proper Hardware: For heavy prints, it’s best to use sturdy hanging hardware like heavy-duty picture hooks, screws, and wall anchors that are appropriate for the weight of your artwork. The hardware package should specify how much weight it can support.
- Mark and Measure: Place the artwork against the wall and mark the top center of the frame on the wall with a pencil. Measure the distance from the top of the frame to the hanging mechanism (wire, D-rings, etc.). Then, from the mark on the wall, measure down to where the hardware should go to support your frame and make another mark.
- Install the Hardware: Drill holes if you're using screws and wall anchors, or hammer in the hooks directly into the studs. Ensure everything is level and securely fastened.
- Hang the Artwork: With the hardware installed, you can now hang your artwork. It might be helpful to have someone assist you to position the artwork safely and ensure it's level.
- Double Check: Once the artwork is up, take a step back and check if it's perfectly horizontal and stable. Adjust if necessary.

Yes, you can hang artwork without damaging the walls by using alternative hanging methods that do not require nails or drilling. Here are some options:
- Adhesive Hooks and Strips: These are available from various brands and are excellent for hanging lighter prints without making holes. Make sure to choose strips or hooks that can support the weight of your artwork, and follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully to avoid any damage to the paint or wall.
- Hanging Rails: Installing a picture rail along the top of your walls allows you to hang artwork from hooks and wires that can be moved and adjusted without touching the wall itself. This is ideal for those who like to change their art displays frequently.
- Tension Rods: Similar to those used for curtains, tension rods can be placed between two walls and used to hang art with wires or strings. This method is particularly useful in alcoves or between furniture pieces.

- Tracking Your Order: You will receive a tracking number once your print is handed over to our courier partners. This will help you monitor the progress of your shipment.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

- Cancellation Window: Since all of our prints are custom-made and production starts soon after an order is placed, we provide a short window of time in which you can cancel your order. You have 24 hours from the time of purchase to contact us if you wish to cancel your order.
- Changing an Order: If you need to make changes to your order (such as altering the size or frame choice), you can do so within the same 24-hour window. Please reach out to us with your order details and the changes you would like to make.
- How to Cancel or Change Your Order: To cancel or modify your order, please email our customer service team immediately with your order number and the details of your request. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
- After the 24-Hour Window: Once the 24-hour period has passed, your order will have likely entered the production process and we can no longer guarantee that changes or cancellations can be made. Understanding Our Return Policy
At Amichi Co, we strive to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchases. However, it's important to note that not all items are eligible for return or exchange. Below are the details of our return eligibility and exceptions:
Eligible Items
- Most items can be returned within 14 days of receipt, provided they are in unused, like-new condition with original packaging and tags.
- Items must not show signs of wear, use, or damage.
- All returns must be initiated with a Return Authorization (RA) from our customer service team.
Exceptions
- Final Sale Items: Products purchased during sales or marked as final sale are not eligible for return or exchange. This includes items bought during clearance events, special promotions or with discount codes.
- Personalised or Customised Items: Products that have been personalised or customised cannot be returned or exchanged, unless there are defects in materials or workmanship.
- Hygiene Products: For health and safety reasons, products that are considered hygiene-sensitive such as beauty products, undergarments, or similar items are not returnable once opened.
- Gift Cards: Gift cards are non-returnable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Special Promotions
- During special promotional events, returns or exchanges may be subject to different terms, which will be clearly outlined on the promotional material and our website at the time of the promotion.
EOFY & Other Major Sales
- Items purchased during end-of-financial-year sales, Black Friday, or other major sales events are considered final sale unless otherwise stated. Please review the specific terms provided during these sales.
Damaged or Incorrect Items

We strive to make the return process at Amichi Co as hassle-free as possible. Follow these simple steps to return your purchase:
Step 1: Verify Eligibility
Ensure your item is eligible for return. Items must be returned within 14 days of receipt, must be in the same condition you received them—unused, with original tags attached, and in the original packaging. Remember, sale items are final sale and not eligible for return unless specifically stated otherwise.

Initiate your return by contacting us at returns@amichico.com. Please provide your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return. Our customer service team will respond promptly with a Return Authorization (RA) number and a product return form.

Pack the items securely in the original packaging or a suitable alternative to ensure the items are protected during transit. Include all original tags and any provided documentation.
Step 4: Ship Your Return
Ship the items to the address provided on the product return form. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive the returned item. You are responsible for the return shipping costs. Unauthorized logistic services are not accepted.
Step 5: Receive Your Refund or Exchange
Once we receive your returned item and it passes our quality inspection, we will process your refund or exchange. A refund will be issued to your original payment method minus a 5% restocking fee to cover the free shipping initially provided. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to reflect in your account.
Preparing Your Return
To facilitate a seamless return process, customers have certain responsibilities to fulfil. Here’s what you need to know and do when preparing to return an item to Amichi Co:
1. Packaging the Product:
- Proper Packaging: Ensure that the item is packed securely in its original packaging or a suitable alternative to prevent damage during transit. Items should be returned in the same condition they were received to qualify for a refund or exchange.
- Include All Components: Return all parts of the product, including manuals, accessories, and free gifts, if applicable.
2. Shipping the Product:
- Use Authorized Logistic Services: Only send returns using authorized logistics or postal services. Unauthorized services may result in the return not being accepted.
- Tracking and Insurance: We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for your package. Amichi Co is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
- Label and Documentation: Clearly label the package with the provided Return Authorization (RA) number and include any filled-out return forms or documents as instructed by our customer service.
3. Covering Shipping Costs:
- Return Shipping Costs: You are responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund total.
- Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of 5% applies to all returns to help cover the cost of the free shipping originally provided on your purchase.
4. Timeliness:
- Return Within the Specified Period: Ensure your return is shipped back to us within the 14-day return window. Returns sent outside this period may not be accepted.
5. Communication:
- Keep Receipts and Tracking Information: Retain all proof of postage and tracking information until your return is fully processed.
- Notify Customer Service: If there are any issues or delays in returning the item, please notify our customer service promptly.
6. Compliance with Return Policy:
- Review the Policy: Familiarize yourself with our return & refund policy details to ensure compliance with all terms and conditions. Non-compliance may result in a rejected return or delayed processing.
Although each artwork is thoroughly checked prior to sending and is packaged with the upmost care, we understand that accidents can happen and on the rare occasion your artwork may be damaged by our delivery partner while being delivered to you.
Please ensure inspect your order upon reception, and in the unfortunate event that an item arrives damaged through the delivery process, please contact us with proof of damage within 24 hours of receiving the parcel at hello@amichico.com.
Please ensure:
- Photos of the damaged areas of the artwork are clearly visible and submitted in .jpeg or .png format
- The artwork must not have been hung, placed or otherwise installed prior to photos of the damage being taken
If it has been more than 24 hours since you've received the parcel, we will try our best to work out a solution, however please note that our delivery insurance only covers this 24 hour period of time.
Friendly tip: If you receive a package which is visually damaged or opened, please insist that this is noted with the carrier before signing for your order.
Following the damage review, we will evaluate the issue, and may elect to organise a replacement or repair the damaged artwork. We appreciate that delivery of the replacement artwork will be subject to existing manufacturing capacity, inventory, availability and shipping timing.

Our prints are handcrafted using the highest quality products. If there are slight markings or variations these are intentional.
Please be aware that not all devices and computers will be calibrated to the correct colours, so we therefore can't be held responsible for minor variations in colours when compared to your device. If there are major variations or issues please email us at hello@amichico.com with a picture and we'll assess it in further detail.
It is important to ensure that any handling does not cause damage to your artwork. We suggest to avoid touching the print directly as oils and dirt from your hands can damage the artwork and rough treatments can scratch and harm the pigments.
We recommend not hanging your item in direct sunlight. Each of our artworks has its own hanging method. Please read the instructions provided carefully. We also recommend using acid free tape if you are framing the print yourself to avoid yellowing the print.
