A piece of art should still feel right after the excitement of choosing it has settled. These five questions move the decision from a product image to your actual wall and daily life.
1. Do I want to keep looking at this image?
Notice whether the subject holds a memory, a place you care about or a feeling you want in the room. A fashionable colour can help a piece fit today, but it is a thin reason to live with it for years. Save two or three contenders, come back later and see which one you still want to see.
2. Where will I see it most often?
Name the wall and the main viewing position. An image above a sofa reads from across the room; a hallway print is seen while passing; bedroom art is often viewed in softer light. Photograph the wall straight on, then look at it from the door and the principal seat. This reveals interruptions such as lamps, switches and reflected windows.
3. What size does the wall actually support?
Measure the usable wall width and the furniture below it. Compare those measurements with the artwork's finished outside dimensions, including frame and matboard. Mark a paper outline or painter's-tape rectangle on the wall. If the space feels empty around it, compare the next size; if it crowds a lamp or doorway, scale down. Start with the artwork size guides, then confirm the actual product's options.
4. Which finish belongs in this room?
Fine art paper behind glazing and canvas have different surfaces, depths and reflections. Frame colour can connect the work to existing timber or make the image stand forward. Check a room view, close-up and size diagram rather than judging from one styled photograph. If glare is a concern, look at the wall at the time of day you use the room.
5. What happens after I order?
Check where the work is made, the production and delivery estimate for your market, what arrives ready to hang, and the applicable return conditions. Pay particular attention to custom choices and discount exclusions. Read the current product details and refund policy before purchasing, then keep your order confirmation.
Before checkout: record wall width and height, complete artwork dimensions, selected finish and frame, price in your currency, estimated timing and return eligibility. If a measurement or specification remains unclear, the styling service can help you compare artwork in a photograph of your wall.
Decision recipe
Three decisions to make before buying the print
Name the feeling
Decide whether the room needs calm, warmth, energy, romance or escape before comparing artworks.

Measure the wall
Scale is often the difference between a print that feels deliberate and one that feels like an afterthought.
Check the colour story
The print does not need to match, but it should speak to at least one tone already in the room.
