About the artwork
‘Taxi Shuttle’ fine art photography print captures the essence of Venetian luxury, where arrivals are made by water and every journey is framed by elegance. The classic Hotel Cipriani boat glides toward the dock, perfectly framed by the iconic black and white striped wooden mooring poles. The scene is a vision of timeless sophistication—the delicate railings and vintage-style lightshade add a touch of old-world charm, while the boat’s captain stands tall, scanning the horizon as he prepares to dock. This print transports you to the heart of Venice, where the rhythm of the lagoon and the quiet anticipation of arrival make every crossing feel like a scene from a grand Italian romance.
“Venice has a way of making even the simplest moments feel cinematic. I was standing at the edge of the dock, watching the Cipriani boat weave its way across the lagoon. The black and white mooring poles created the perfect frame, almost as if they were guiding the boat in. The captain stood at the helm, his gaze steady as he navigated toward the landing. I wanted to capture that sense of movement and arrival—the quiet thrill of stepping off the boat and into another world. The scene felt effortlessly Venetian, a reminder that in this city, even a taxi ride is an experience to savour.”

Ask the studioHow are your frames crafted, and what makes them gallery-quality?
Our frames are expertly handcrafted from high-quality, sustainable wood and come in Gallery Classic and Gallery Statement styles, available in white, black, or natural oak finishes. Each print is produced using museum-quality fine art giclée printing techniques on premium, archival paper to ensure superior clarity and longevity. We use acid-free, lignin-free materials to prevent yellowing or deterioration, and mount each print on acid-free foamcore for added durability. To protect your artwork, we use UV-resistant acrylic plexiglass, shielding it from sunlight and ensuring a lasting, gallery-quality display.
Does the framed print come ready to hang?
Yes. Depending on the size of the print, it will either feature a strong tension wire wrapped around D-rings for easy hanging, or a pair of reinforcing corner hangers attached to the back of the frame for added stability. Each artwork comes ready to hang, with our artwork hanging, installation and care guide to help you display it securely and beautifully.
What’s the difference between ‘border’ and ‘full bleed’ options?
A ‘border’ print includes a 4-ply white mat board, which adds a classic and elegant separation between the image and the frame, enhancing the overall presentation. In contrast, a ‘full bleed’ print extends the image all the way to the edges for a more modern and immersive look, without any visible matting. The choice depends on your preferred aesthetic and style.
How long will it take to receive my order?
It depends on the size of your artwork: each fine art print is made to order, then printed, framed and assembled by hand for you. Once it’s on its way, you’ll receive tracking with live updates.
